My First Day at Pizza SEO

I have been hired as an intern to Pizza SEO. My name is Peter Kucerka (@peter_kucerka – I tweet in Slovak only). I am student on Faculty of Mass-media Communication in Trnava. I am active user of Twitter and big fan of all social networks. Why I applied for this internship? It is simple. For a long time I have been looking for opportunity at some company, which deals with advertising, internet or something similar. When I saw message on @pizzaseo Twitter account, that they are looking for an intern, I din’t wait. We exchanged few emails and I was invited for interview.

Usability recommendations for Choqok Twitter client

Choqok is an open source micro-blogging client for K Desktop Environment (KDE) on Linux. As of version 0.6.6 it supports the popular Twitter and Identi.ca services. Daniel Duriš, senior consultant of Pizza SEO, uses Choqok and decided to make it better by providing free recommendations on the usability improvements to the Choqok developers.

No licence for Flash abuse: SEO and Google indexing Flash

Google can now index Flash better than before. What this means is that Google can now provide searchers even more information than before – if you look for information only found within a Flash site that Google can read there will be a result where there used to be none.

Pizza SEO and Britney Spears?

What do Pizza SEO and Britney Spears have in common? Not much, except for a post by Michael Martinez at Seo Theory blog. I know, Michael meant optimizing for “seo”, “pizza” and “Britney Spears” separately, but I guess optimizing for those three terms together could bring some SEO-targetted traffic as well (readers of Michael’s blog searching for these three phrases, welcome!).
